Contract

What exactly am I handing over?

Session / guided simulation Guided simulation · AI/GPT not required
What you'll learn

Learn to turn a vague handoff into a one-action contract with a target, permitted change, preconditions, exclusions and completion evidence.

Bring / required

Required: your AI Work Delegation Blueprint and either your own workflow or the fictional starter case. AI/GPT is not required for the core simulation.

What you'll do

Repair an ambiguous instruction, separate deciding from doing and place approval before execution.

Take away

A one-action contract that another person can interpret without guessing.

This session uses paper, partner role-play and supplied evidence. Do not treat the simulation as a live customer action.

What you will leave with

A one-action contract. Add this to your AI Work Delegation Blueprint.

Use your own workflow or the fictional quotation case. No coding or live customer action is needed.

Start with a decision · 10 minutes

Give pairs “Handle Aina’s quote.” One person drafts, the other sends. Both believe they followed the same instruction. Ask what information would prevent that disagreement.

Bite A · Name the target and effect

Question: Which record may change, and how?

Input: Q-104 and P-SEP in S1/S2. Open the case cards.

Try · 12 minutes: Repair “Handle Aina’s quote.” Specify enquiry ID, draft version, recipient, allowed change and completion check. Swap contracts and mark any remaining ambiguity.

Compare after you have decided

Prepare Q-104 at the current price. No send until Mira approves the version and verified recipient. “Handle it” does not identify a bounded action.

Keep: System, target, permitted change and exclusions.

Bite B · Separate deciding from doing

Question: Which steps need judgement or authority?

Input: 500 notebooks at RM8; Q-106 requests 15% off; S2 policy. Open the case cards.

Try · 12 minutes: Sort calculation, wording, discount approval and sending into fixed calculation, suggested judgement, owner decision and controlled action. Explain a disputed placement.

Compare after you have decided

500 × RM8 = RM4,000 is a checkable calculation. Drafting wording does not transfer discount authority. A fixed calculation needs no autonomous decision.

Keep: Decision owner for each step.

Bite C · Put approval before execution

Question: What must be true before the action starts?

Input: Q-106, Prepare mode, Mira’s limit and Daniel’s authority. Open the case cards.

Try · 12 minutes: Write the sequence: request and facts, authority or approval, action, verification. Mark the missing approval and draft the request for it.

Compare after you have decided

Preparation continues while the 15% request waits for Daniel. An approval recorded after sending cannot authorise the earlier send.

Keep: Contract with preconditions and evidence.

Put it together · 20 minutes

A peer can determine whether a normal request is ready and an exception is blocked without the author explaining the contract. Revise the weakest item and have a partner use it. Keep the result and one limitation.

Close your question · 10 minutes

Return to What exactly am I handing over? and your own opening question. Answered, partly answered or still open? Show the evidence. Save the updated AI Work Delegation Blueprint. A reasoned decision to keep a step human-led is useful work.

Common trap

A proposed action belongs in the contract; actual execution follows approval. Do not reverse those in a diagram.

Must every action need a fresh approval? Choose the mode for the task. In this training case sending needs version-specific approval.

Where this appears in real work

Zenneth.ai content approval: tie permission to a specific draft and channel before publishing. The class uses the fictional packet; selected project demonstrations and technical walkthroughs can add detail later.
